This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Snow Risk in northeast Illinois.

DISCUSSION...

Lake effect snow showers will continue through the evening and
into the overnight for parts of Lake and Cook Counties, possibly
stretching into Wednesday morning, which could then impact
portions of the morning commute. Pockets of moderate to
occasionally heavy snow can be expected resulting in slick
roadways and poor visibility.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday and Thursday...
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Another period of accumulating lake effect snow is expected
Wednesday into Wednesday evening, primarily across northwest
Indiana and particularly across northern Lake and Porter
counties.

Gusty snow showers are expected to develop across the rest of the
region Wednesday and again Thursday afternoon and evening with
additional spotty accumulations.
