...Gusty winds and occasional snow showers through early
evening to reduce visibility and possibly create difficult travel...
West to northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts between 35 and
45 mph will occur through early evening across northeast Illinois
and northwest Indiana. High profile vehicles like semi- trucks
traveling on north-south roads may find driving difficult. These
winds may combine with falling snow to quickly though briefly
reduce visibility. These gusty winds can also blow and move loose
objects such as lawn furniture. Winds will gradually decrease
during the evening.
