* At 700 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported urban and small
stream flooding due to heavy rain associated with thunderstorms
that moved through the area last night and earlier today. Flooding
is most prevalent near streams and rivers and in low lying areas
with poor drainage. Over two inches of rain fell over the area.
Additional light rain is expected this evening, but no additional
heavy rain is likely.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
