THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Flooding will continue along portions of the Kankakee River in
northwestern Indiana tonight.
DISCUSSION:
Isolated thunderstorms are possible across much of the outlook
area tonight. Severe weather is not expected.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Thursday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Fire Weather Risk.
Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Flooding will continue along portions of the Kankakee River in
northwestern Indiana for the next several days.
DISCUSSION:
Scattered thunderstorms are possible across the entire outlook
area Thursday, with chances for thunderstorms ending from west to
east Thursday night. Some of the thunderstorms may become strong
to severe Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening, mainly
along and south of the Illinois and Kankakee Rivers in east
central Illinois and northwest Indiana. Heavy rain, hail, and
damaging winds are the main threats at this time.
