WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Elevated Snow Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Snow will begin tonight and continue through the day on
Monday. The heavier snow rates will occur overnight into the
Monday morning commute, with lighter snow continuing through
Monday. Lake effect snow is expected Monday night into Tuesday for
northeast Illinois, continuing into Wednesday for northwest
Indiana. The lake effect snow could be locally heavy and produce
localized snow amounts of several inches.
