THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.

DISCUSSION:

West to southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as
40 mph will ease this evening, but lingering fire weather risk
will continue until around sundown.

A few light showers with an isolated thunderstorm or two is also
possible this evening, mainly across far northern Illinois.

Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Significant Fire Weather Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Dry and very windy conditions will continue Wednesday. West winds
gusting as high as 45 mph will again combine with low relative
humidity levels to produce an elevated wild fire threat.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
