THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Elevated Thunderstorm Wind Damage Risk...up to 60 MPH.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Gusty south winds up to around 40 mph are likely this evening. A
line of thunderstorms is expected to move into north central
Illinois late this evening, and then continue across remaining
areas in northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana overnight. Some
of these storms could be severe with damaging winds mainly west of
the Chicago area tonight.
