THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Thunderstorm Wind Damage Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Limited Fire Weather Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Deepening low pressure will lift from the northern Plains into
Manitoba and western Ontario through tonight, while trailing a
cold front which will push across the outlook area tonight.
Gusty south winds up to 35 mph can be expected ahead of the front
today, and a line of thunderstorms is expected ahead of the cold
front tonight. Some of these storms could be severe with damaging
winds mainly west of the Chicago area tonight.
