THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Elevated Snow Risk tonight.

DISCUSSION:

Snow will begin tonight and continue through the day on
Monday. The heavier snow rates will occur overnight into the Monday
morning commute, with lighter snow continuing through Monday. Lake effect snow
is expected Monday night into Tuesday for northeast Illinois, continuing into
Wednesday for northwest Indiana. Several inches of accumulation are expected,
with the highest numbers through early Tuesday north, better chances in
northwest Indiana later Tuesday and Tuesday night.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Elevated Snow Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk - mainly for lake adjacent counties.
Wednesday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
