NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS...THE STRONGEST COULD PRODUCE:
HEAVY RAIN.
FREQUENT LIGHTNING.
AND HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF NICKELS.

AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

SOME POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE AREA LATE
TONIGHT...BUT THE HIGHEST CHANCES APPEAR TO BE SOUTH OF A
LA SALLE PERU TO RENSSELAER LINE AFTER MIDNIGHT.

DISCUSSION:

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL COMBINE WITH INCREASING WARM
AND MOIST AIR MOVING NORTHWARD TO BRING THE THREAT OF
THUNDERSTORMS LATE TONIGHT...MAINLY ACROSS CENTRAL ILLINOIS. THE
THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER APPEARS LOW.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

A PERIOD OR TWO OF THUNDERSTORMS IS POSSIBLE SUNDAY THROUGH
MONDAY NIGHT. ANY STORMS THAT DO DEVELOP DURING THIS PERIOD COULD
BE SEVERE WITH AN ATTENDANT THREAT OF HEAVY RAINFALL.
