NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL SPREAD NORTH THIS AFTERNOON AND
ENCOMPASS THE ENTIRE AREA TONIGHT. ACCUMULATING SNOW OF SEVERAL
INCHES WILL OCCUR...WITH SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS EXPECTED SOUTH
OF THE KANKAKEE RIVER VALLEY. IN ADDITION...AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW
WILL DEVELOP LATER TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

LINGERING SNOWFALL ALONG WITH AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW WILL BE SEEN
WEDNESDAY MORNING.

ARCTIC AIR WILL RETURN TO THE MIDWEST IN THE WAKE OF THE MID WEEK
STORM SYSTEM. WIND CHILL READINGS WILL LIKELY APPROACH 20 TO 25
BELOW ZERO EARLY THURSDAY MORNING...AND AGAIN EARLY FRIDAY
MORNING.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR A PERIOD OF ACCUMULATING SNOW DURING THE
UPCOMING WEEKEND.
