NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY THIS MORNING...IN ADDITION TO
INTENSE CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING A FEW MAY PRODUCE SMALL HAIL.
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL THIS MORNING AND CONTINUED RUN OFF FROM
SNOW MELT AND SCATTERED SHOWERS THIS AFTERNOON COULD RESULT IN
LOCALIZED FLOODING. A LINE OF HEAVY SHOWERS AND POSSIBLE
THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED TO SWEEP ACROSS THE AREA AROUND RUSH
HOUR THIS EVENING. WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS
LINE. FINALLY...STRONG WINDS ARE LIKELY TONIGHT WITH GUSTS OF 50
TO 60 MPH EXPECTED THIS EVENING.

LOCALIZED RIVER FLOODING IS LIKELY TO DEVELOP...PARTICULARLY WITH
ANY ICE JAMS THAT FORM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

WIND GUSTS TO 45 MPH ARE LIKELY FRIDAY.

LOCALIZED RIVER FLOODING WILL REMAIN A THREAT THROUGH THE WEEKEND
WITH AN INCREASED THREAT OF ICE JAMS.
