DISCUSSION...
Winds gusting as high as 50 mph are expected through early
evening. In addition, the combination of strong winds and dry
conditions will lead to a heightened risk of grass and brush fire
spread through early evening, especially south of the Kankakee
River where the driest conditions are expected.
