DISCUSSION...
Accumulating lake effect snow is expected in areas near the
Illinois lakeshore through this morning and in northwest Indiana
through this afternoon. Impacts to travel due to snow-covered
roads and sharp reductions in visibility are expected in areas
affected by the lake effect snow band.
Minimum wind chills between 10 below and 25 below zero are expected
across the area tonight into Monday morning, coldest across
interior portions of northern Illinois.
