morning, primarily north of I-80.
Recent above freezing temperatures and rainfall may lead to
highly localized minor flooding due to river breakup ice jams.

Chances are increasing for a storm system to impact the region on

wintry mix of snow or sleet and freezing rain to change to
primarily freezing rain Wednesday afternoon and evening across
portions of northern Illinois. If this occurs, impactful ice
accumulations will be possible.
