This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 1 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
Level 1 of 5 Large Hail Risk...up to quarter size.
Level 1 of 5 Tornado Risk, mainly closer to IL/WI state line.
Elevated Flooding Risk mainly this evening and overnight.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop late this
afternoon into the evening. A few storms could produce locally
strong to damaging winds and hail to the size of quarters, mainly
between 4 and 9 PM.

Some showers and isolated storms may continue into the overnight
and may produce locally heavy rainfall, particularly near the
lake.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Monday through and Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk at times.

DISCUSSION...

Showers and embedded thunderstorms will continue on Friday,
particularly during the morning. Locally heavy rainfall is the
main threat with any activity.

Spotters may be needed late this afternoon and evening.
