This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 1 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
Level 1 of 5 Large Hail Risk...up to quarter size.
Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated thunderstorms are possible this morning mainly south of
I-80. Scattered thunderstorms (30 to 40 percent coverage) are
also possible mainly south of I-80 this afternoon. A few strong to
severe storms are possible, mainly southeast of about a Pontiac
to Valparaiso line. Isolated damaging winds and large hail are the
main threats. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible this
afternoon across the same area.

Level 1 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
