Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk this morning, mainly near and west of
I-39.

DISCUSSION...

There is a slight chance for isolated thunderstorms this morning,
mainly near and west of I-39 in north central and northwest
Illinois.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Significant Excessive Heat Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 2 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Extreme Excessive Heat Risk.
Wednesday through Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...
Dangerously hot and humid conditions are expected Monday into
Tuesday, with the hottest conditions expected on Tuesday. Peak
afternoon heat indices of 105 to 115 degrees are possible.

There is a chance of scattered thunderstorms Tuesday,
particularly Tuesday night. Some of these storms could be severe,
with damaging winds the primary threat.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
