...Gusty Snow Showers and Occasional Squalls this Afternoon...
Through about 6 PM, expect occasional bursts of heavier snow from
snow showers and squalls. Visibility will be under one mile at
times, along with occasional stronger wind gusts up to 40 mph.
While most accumulation will be confined to colder surfaces, the
heaviest snowfall rates will produce temporary pavement
accumulations, especially on bridges, overpasses, ramps, and less
heavily traveled roads. Motorists are advised to drive with
caution and leave extra time to reach their destinations.
