Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

DISCUSSION...
Quick bursts of snow are expected this morning, mainly north of
I-88. Some minor accumulations will be possible on cooler and
elevated surfaces.
Additional snow showers and squalls will develop later this
morning and afternoon, and some slushy accumulations are possible
underneath any heavier snowfall. Lake-effect snow showers can
then be expected for parts of northwest Indiana during the evening
into the overnight, and possibly for lakeside areas of Illinois
during the evening.
Northwesterly winds will gust to around 35 mph today.
