This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Snow Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

An area of lake enhanced snow showers will continue this evening
for lake adjacent counties of Illinois with a quick accumulation
of up to 1 to 3 inches of snow resulting in hazardous travel
conditions. Gusty winds up to 45 mph may accompany this band of
snow along with poor visibility.

Lake-effect snow showers will then persist across northwest
Indiana tonight with total accumulations of 2 to 4 inches, with
locally higher amounts possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
