Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Heavy Rainfall Risk across northwest Illinois.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated thunderstorms are possible today and tonight, mainly
across portions of northern Illinois northwest of an approximately
Peru to Lake Forest line. No severe weather is expected. Periods
of showers and isolated thunderstorms may produce locally heavy
rainfall amounts in excess of an inch in some spots across
northwest Illinois through tonight. While some ponding of water
may occur in typical low spots, the threat of widespread flooding
appears low.
