DISCUSSION...
Bursts of snow and blustery northwest winds are becoming
increasingly likely throughout the day on Tuesday, with lake
effect snow continuing in northwestern Indiana Tuesday night.
Slick travel conditions will be possible, particularly if snow
arrives in the pre-dawn and early- morning hours across parts of
northern Illinois.
Northwest winds may gust up to 40 to 45 mph, highest west of
Interstate 39 and south of Interstate 80 on Tuesday and near the
lake in Indiana on Tuesday evening.
