Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Snow Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered to numerous snow showers are expected through the
afternoon with the potential for a slushy coating of snow beneath
any heavier showers. Lake-effect snow showers develop this
evening across far northeast Illinois and into northwest
Indiana overnight. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches
may occur, with locally higher amounts in northwest Indiana.

West northwesterly winds will gust to around 35 mph this
afternoon, becoming northwesterly to 40 mph near the lake in the
evening.
