DISCUSSION...

Low pressure will move across central Illinois and Indiana later

northeast winds in excess of 30 mph to the region
through Friday along with periods of rain and some threat for
thunderstorms.

The main area for strong to severe storms will be focused well south
of Interstate 80 as an MCS moves eastward while a warm front lifts
northward into central Illinois, mainly south of US Highway 24.
This includes southern Livingston, Ford, Iroquois counties in
Illinois and Benton County Indiana. A few storms could be strong to
severe with a threat for damaging winds for areas that get into the
warm sector ahead of this complex of storms. There is also a tornado
threat right along the warm front. Some small hail is also possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
High Swim Risk.
Saturday...
High Swim Risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed this afternoon and early evening
well south of the I-80 corridor.
