This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited to elevated damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited hail and tornado risk.

DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorms will move into the area later this afternoon and
evening. Some of these storms could become strong to severe, with
damaging wind gusts to 60 mph and large hail possible. While not
the primary hazard a brief tornado cannot be ruled out. The severe
threat may diminish with eastward extent into northwest Indiana.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk well south of Interstate 80.
Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed this afternoon through mid evening.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east northeast around 35 mph.
