Limited Thunderstorm Risk northwest Illinois this afternoon.
Elevated Fog Risk Chicago metro near lake early this morning.
DISCUSSION...
Areas of dense fog across parts of the Chicago metro area, mainly
closer to the lake, will improve quickly this morning after
sunrise. Isolated thunderstorms are possible across parts of
northwest and north central Illinois this afternoon.

Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Wednesday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:
Scattered thunderstorms are possible Tuesday and Tuesday night
across the area, and mainly southeast of Interstate 55 on
Wednesday. A few of these storms could be strong to severe
Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night, with gusty winds and hail
the main threats.
