This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk this morning.
Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms will continue to push east across the
area early this morning, mainly south of a line from the Quad
Cities to Waukegan line. Occasional cloud to ground lightning
and wind gusts around 30 mph will be the main threats with
these storms, which will move out of the area later this morning.

Northwest winds increase midday into this afternoon, with gusts
up to 35 mph possible.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Limited Lakeshore Flood Risk.
High Swim Risk.
Friday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
High Swim Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A low pressure system will move through the region Thursday
through Friday. This system will produce gusty northeast
winds in excess of 30 mph, along with rain and scattered
thunderstorms. Thunderstorms will be possible mainly south of
the I-80 corridor Thursday afternoon and evening. A few strong
storms with gusty winds and hail are possible, especially
farther south into central Illinois.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east at 25 mph.
