This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited hail risk...up to the size of quarters.
Limited Tornado risk...mainly south of a La Salle
to Rensselaer line

DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorms will move across the region this afternoon and
evening. Some of these storms could be strong to severe, with a
threat for damaging wind gusts strong enough to down trees and cause
power outages and hail large enough to dent cars. A tornado or two
can't be ruled out, but mainly south of a La Salle to Kankakee to
Rensselaer line. Thunderstorms will move east of the region late
this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk south of the Kankakee River.
Saturday and Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed late this afternoon through mid evening,
mainly south of I-80.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east-northeast at 35 to 40 mph.
