This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Monday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk area-wide.
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk Indiana Lakeshore.
Elevated Snow Risk northwest Indiana.
Significant Lakeshore Flood Risk, mainly northwest Indiana.
Tuesday...
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk northwest Indiana.

DISCUSSION:

A prolonged period of strong north winds is expected late Sunday
night into Monday night, with gusts to 35 mph for most of the area
and in excess of 40 mph along the immediate Lake Michigan shore.
This will lead to a period of lakeshore flooding for the northwest
Indiana shoreline of Lake Michigan, with some impacts also likely
along the Illinois shore.

Accumulating lake effect snow is likely for northwest Indiana
from late Sunday night into early Tuesday morning. This snow may
briefly brush areas near the lake in northeast Illinois, including
downtown Chicago, on Monday morning.
