Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Southerly winds will gust up to 35 to 40 this afternoon, with the
strongest winds expected north and west of I-55. Combined with
dry conditions, there will be an elevated to briefly near critical
fire danger today.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Thursday...
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
DISCUSSION:
South to southwesterly winds will gust up to 40 to 45 mph on
Thursday. Combined with dry conditions, there will be an increased
risk for the rapid spread of brush fires, especially for locales
south and east of I-55.
