...A Look Back at the Climate for the Month of November 2019 for
Chicago and Rockford...
At Chicago, the average high temperature was 41.6 degrees, which
is 6.6 degrees below normal. The average low temperature was 27.9
degrees, which is 4.5 degrees below normal. The average
temperature for the month was 34.8 degrees which is 5.5 degrees
below normal. During the month of November, 1.87 inches of
precipitation were recorded, which is 1.28 inches below normal.
3.7 inches of snow were recorded, which is 2.5 inches above
normal.
Two records were set for Chicago for the month of November 2019:
* Record daily lowest maximum temperature of 17 degrees on the 12th.
* Record daily minimum temperature of 7 degrees on the 12th.
At Rockford, the average high temperature was 41.0 degrees, which
is 6.6 degrees below normal. The average low temperature was 25.6
degrees, which is 4.7 degrees below normal. The average
temperature for the month was 33.3 degrees, which is 5.6 degrees
below normal. During the month of November, 1.87 inches of
precipitation were recorded, which is 0.71 inches below normal.
4.6 inches of snow were recorded, which is 1.7 inches above
normal.
Four records were set for Rockford for the month of November
2019:
* Record daily minimum temperature of 19 degrees on the 1st.
* Record daily lowest maximum temperature of 16 degrees on the
12th.
* Record daily minimum temperature of 3 degrees on the 12th.
* Record daily snowfall of 3.2 inches on the 11th.
