This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk tonight southeast of I-55.
Elevated Fog Risk this morning near the lakefront.

DISCUSSION...

Areas of fog near the lakeshore will ease mid to late morning
when winds will shift to offshore for a brief time. Expect another
round of rain tonight. There could be a thunderstorm or two,
with areas southeast of I-55 favored, but coverage will be
limited.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Limited Snow Risk, mainly at night

DISCUSSION:

Snow showers with gusty winds are possible on Monday, though
the better chance for light accumulations will be Monday night.
Areas north of I-80 stand the best chances. Some snow may affect
the morning commute Tuesday but should be mostly ending.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the north northeast at 45 to 50 mph.
