This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Excessive cold Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Wind chills over northern IL are expected to bottom out in the
single digits below zero early this morning as a much colder
airmass shifts over the area.
In addition, strong northwest winds will drive high waves which
will cause some minor lakeshore flooding and beach erosion today,
mainly for the Porter County shore of Lake Michigan.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
