This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Limited Snow Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Snow showers will continue through this evening, becoming more
focused over far northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana into
the overnight. Minor slushy accumulation is probable, especially
on grassy and elevated surfaces. Also there is a chance for
patchy light freezing drizzle overnight.
Strengthening northerly winds will result in building waves and
likely cause additional lakeshore flooding for the Cook County
Illinois as well as Indiana shores of Lake Michigan.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Monday...
Limited Snow Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Lake effect snow is likely for northwest Indiana Monday morning,
with additional minor snow accumulations possible.
The stronger northerly winds Monday morning are expected to
diminish through midday, with the higher waves and lakeshore
flooding subsiding during Monday afternoon.
