This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 1 of 5 Large Hail Risk...up to around 1 inch in diameter.
Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are expected late tonight. One or two of
the strongest storms could become severe late tonight, capable of
producing hail up to around 1 inch in diameter. Some of the
storms late tonight may also produce locally heavy rainfall, which
could lead to some localized flooding of flood prone low lying
areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Limited Flooding Risk.
Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 3 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Showers and thunderstorms are likely Wednesday morning, especially
north of I-80. Locally heavy rainfall could lead to some minor
flooding of flood prone low lying areas.

There is a chance of additional thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon
and early evening. It is plausible that additional thunderstorms
don't occur Wednesday afternoon and evening, however, if storms do
develop then some could be severe and capable of producing
tornadoes.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed late tonight and again Wednesday
afternoon and evening.
