Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 1 of 5 Large Hail Risk...up to 1 inch in diameter.
Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are expected late tonight. The strongest
storms will be capable of hail up to 1 inch in diameter. Some of
the storms late tonight may produce locally heavy rainfall which
could lead to some localized flooding of low lying or flood prone
areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Limited Flooding Risk.
Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 3 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

Elevated Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Additional waves of thunderstorms are expected at times on
Wednesday, some of which may be severe with damaging winds, large
hail, tornadoes, and localized flooding.
