Level 2 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
Level 2 of 5 Large Hail Risk...up to Half Dollar Size.
Level 2 of 5 Tornado Risk.
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
DISCUSSION...
South to southwesterly winds will become gusty up to 40 to 45 mph
this afternoon and evening.
There is a 15 percent chance of an isolated thunderstorm north of
a Mendota to McHenry line this morning. Primary hazards include
lightning and small hail.
There remains a conditional threat of thunderstorms late this
evening and overnight as a cold front moves through the region.
Any storms that develop would have the potential to be strong to
severe.
