This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 2 of 5 Large Hail Risk...up to 2 inches in diameter.
Level 2 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
Level 1 of 5 Tornado Risk.
Limited Non-Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Southwest winds will gust to 35 to 40 mph through early this
evening.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop this evening,
primarily along and southeast of a line from near LaSalle-Peru to
Chicago. Some of the storms could be severe with large hail,
possibly up to 2 inches in diameter, the greatest threat. There
is also the potential for locally damaging winds and perhaps a
tornado, especially if thunderstorms become more widespread and
are able to organize into a line.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Sunday and Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
