Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited to Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk east of I-55.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk east of I-55.
Limited Flooding Risk tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Southerly winds may gust up to 45 mph at times today, primarily
east of I-55.

The combination of dry air, warm temperatures, and strong winds
will lead to an elevated fire danger, primarily east of I-55.

Locally heavy rainfall tonight may lead to minor flooding of low-
lying locales, fields, and other flood-prone areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Friday and Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Strong to severe thunderstorms may develop Tuesday morning and
into the early afternoon mainly along and east of Interstate 55.
