This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk Overnight.

DISCUSSION...

Strong southwest winds and dry conditions will result in an
elevated fire danger this afternoon. A few thunderstorms may move
into the area overnight with the best chances for that being south
of Interstate-80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Thursday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Periods of thunderstorms are expected Wednesday into late Thursday
night. Some of these storms may become severe Thursday afternoon
and evening, especially west of I-39.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
