This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk south of Interstate 80 this afternoon
with an associated:
Limited Hail Risk...Larger than 1 inch in diameter.
Limited Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph
Limited Flooding Risk mainly south of I-80.
Limited Fog Risk.


DISCUSSION...

Another round of showers and thunderstorms may occur this
afternoon and evening south of Interstate 80, if not south of US
24. A few storms may become severe with damaging hail and winds.
Additional downpours may lead to localized flooding, as well.

Patchy dense fog near the Lake Michigan shoreline may spread
inland into the Chicago metropolitan area this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed south of I-80 this afternoon.
