This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk south of US 24...with an associated:
Limited Hail Risk...Larger than 1 inch in diameter.
Limited Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Fog Risk near the Lake Michigan shoreline.

DISCUSSION...

Another round of showers and thunderstorms may occur this
afternoon and evening south of a line from Pontiac, Illinois, to
Rensselaer, Indiana. The main threat with any storm will be
downpours, frequent lightning, and damaging hail. Locally damaging
wind gusts cannot be ruled out, either.

Patchy dense fog may spread along the Lake Michigan shoreline this
evening before dissipating after sunset.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Spotters may be needed this afternoon south of US 24.
