Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk

DISCUSSION...

Strong southerly wind gusts up to 45 mph combined with already
dry fuels will result in a continued risk for grassland fire
spread through early evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Tuesday morning...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Showers and thunderstorms are expected late Monday and Monday
night. The potential exists for a few of these storms to produce
hail and gusty winds. Locally heavy downpours are also expected,
and may lead to some minor flooding in urban areas.
