...Patchy Dense Freezing Fog This Morning...
Locally dense fog with visibilites of 1/4 mile or less is
expected to continue this morning across portions of northern
Illinois outside of the Chicago metro. With below freezing
temperatures present in most of the affected locations, slick
spots may develop on some roads. Motorists are advised to reduce
speed and allow for extra stopping distance. Use low beams when
driving in dense fog.
