across interior northern Illinois. Patchy slick spots may develop
where temperatures are below freezing.
Localized river flooding will continue on portions of the
Illinois River.

DISCUSSION...
Strong southerly wind gusts to 40 mph develop Thursday afternoon
and evening along with a chance for thunderstorms ahead of an
approaching cold front.
Localized river flooding will continue on portions of the
Illinois River.
