Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Hail Risk...up to 1 inch in diameter.
Significant Fire Weather Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Strong winds, very dry conditions, and record warm temperatures
will result in a significant fire weather risk this afternoon,
particularly in Illinois.
Isolated thunderstorms may develop this evening, with the threat
for isolated thunderstorms ending after midnight. If any storms
do develop, the strongest could produce hail, possibly up to
around 1 inch in diameter.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday...
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
DISCUSSION...
A strong, spring-like storm system will impact the central part
of the country on Tuesday into Wednesday. Ingredients may come
together to support a threat for strong to severe thunderstorms
late Tuesday afternoon and evening, especially east of I-55 and
across northwest Indiana. The strongest storms could produce large
hail, damaging winds, and possibly a tornado.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Due to the isolated nature of any severe weather tonight,
spotters are not expected to be needed. However, spotters may
be needed Tuesday late afternoon and evening.
