This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Hail Risk...up to Quarter Size.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated to scattered showers and storms may develop this afternoon,
primarily near and east of an Elgin to Pontiac, IL line. There is
still a chance that a few of these storms could become severe with
a risk for damaging winds and hail.

Another round of thunderstorms may occur overnight. These
thunderstorms will also have a chance to be severe with a
threat for damaging winds. The best chances for both thunderstorms
and severe weather overnight are expected to be in northwest Illinois.
