This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk tonight...with an associated:
Limited Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
Elevated Flooding Risk Tonight.
High Swim Risk Lake Michigan Shore.

DISCUSSION...

A few strong to severe storms with gusty winds are possible into
central and east-central Illinois this evening into the early
overnight hours.

Locally heavy rain is possible tonight for areas around and south
of the I-80 corridor. Localized instances of flooding are
possible, especially for areas that experienced several inches of
rain on Saturday from central Illinois into northwest Indiana.

Large waves on southern Lake Michigan will result in a high swim
risk at northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana area beaches
into this evening.
