Oppressive and dangerous heat and humidity will continue today
with peak afternoon heat indices of 110 to 117 degrees.
A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible late this
afternoon and evening, primarily north of I-80. Damaging wind
gusts will be the main threat with any storms.
